Our House at National University Hospital
Ronald McDonald House at NUH provides free accommodation to families with seriously ill or injured children receiving treatment at the National University Hospital's Paediatric ICU (PICU) and Neonatal ICU (NICU) wards. Our goal is to ease the financial and emotional strain so families can focus on their child’s recovery. Providing a comfortable, home-like environment where the caregivers can stay close to their child, while making time to rest without needing to commute.
Just round the corner from the PICU Ward, our House has 4 bedrooms, with ensuite bathrooms for the convenience and comfort of every family we serve. It offers welcoming communal spaces, including a living and dining area, and a kitchen and laundry, creating a warm, supportive environment at the hospital. We also provide Ready-to-Eat meals for families to help themselves to, at their convenience. Our dedicated staff and volunteers are here to support families for however long they need to stay, 24 hours, seven days a week.
We are proud to have served over 1500 families since its inception in January 2013.
